TA PHOTOGRAPHY had the opportunity to catch up with up and coming rap artist ROTI.  The Toronto based rapper is set to star in the upcoming TV Reality Series Conviction Kitchen airing September 13@10pm  on  CITY TV.

Spending the day with Roti and Sinister aka Dope Boy Magic was a real awakening.  Raised in the harder part of Toronto, Roti had grown up in a world of violence, drugs and gang rage which claimed the life of his best friend.  Refusing to become a statistic, Roti took a stand and became a voice for anyone struggling to achieve a better life.  He's becoming more and more of a household name due to his youtube fan base releasing 5 music videos, 4 radio singles and counting.  Roti is also the founder of Mastermindz ENT, his own record label.  His latest release Let's Get Away featuring Kim Davis promises to make its mark in the mainstream hip hop and R & B genre.

Roti and Sinister made the shoot fun, creative and inspiring.

TA Photography had the pleasure of working with this talented group of teens; Sara Michelle Preston(vocals), Derek Hope(lead guitar) & Thomas Bamford (bass) with the mature influence of their drummer Scott Bamford.  Their latest album Oceans, represents the marriage between 80's Rock and Modern Edge presented in the timeless story of youth, love and loss.  With influences like Foo Fighters, Iron Maiden and Evanescence, Deep Subject has found a way to make their music their own.

From the softer ballads such as Oceans and Closure, to more hard hitting lyrics and instrumentals found in Fantasyland, Deep Subject is an up and coming artist worth adding to your music collection.  To find out more information or contact this band visit their website www.deepsubject.ca.

TA Photography would like to take the time to extend much appreciation to Brent Beshara and Steve Noseworthy for lending time and talent to this shoot.
